Business Continuity Plan Disclosure

Demo Mortgage Company has established a comprehensive Business Continuity Plan (BCP) to ensure that we can continue to operate in the event of significant disruptions. While we cannot predict every type of incident, our plan is built to be flexible so we can respond appropriately and minimize any impact.

Our Approach: In the event of a disruption, we are committed to quickly restoring operations while prioritizing the safety of our team, protecting our facilities and data, maintaining financial integrity, and ensuring uninterrupted customer service. Our plan is designed to help us resume critical business functions as swiftly as possible, depending on the severity of the event.

Key components of our continuity plan include: secure data backup and recovery systems, contingency arrangements for mission-critical functions, alternate communication methods with clients and regulators, remote work capabilities, and partnerships with vital vendors, service providers, and financial institutions. We also aim to ensure continued access to funds and account services for our clients.

We have been informed by our clearing partners that they also intend to resume full operations and process all pending and new transactions within 24 hours of a disruption, though delays may occur depending on the situation.

Types of Disruptions

Disruptions may be localized (impacting just our office or building), more widespread (affecting the surrounding district or city), or regional (covering a broad area). Depending on the event's magnitude, we will activate our continuity procedures, including remote operations, and communicate updates via phone or email.
